Monster Energy Cup to Host Inaugural Monster Energy FMX High Rollers Contest
Feld Entertainment announced today that the Monster Energy Cup will feature the Monster Energy FMX High Rollers contest at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas on October 15 during the afternoon Pit Party that takes place outside the stadium from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. PT.

The world's top freestyle motocross riders will compete in three different disciplines - Freestyle Motocross (FMX), the Dirt Shark Biggest Whip and the FMX Quarter Pipe Big Air competition. With $100,000 up for grabs, the Monster Energy FMX High Rollers event will see thirty of the world's best riders battle it out on one of the sport's largest stages.

The Monster Energy team will be well represented as Axell Hodges, Edgar Torronteras, Bryce Hudson and Jeremy Stenberg will compete against former winners Tom Parsons and Jarryd McNeil in the Dirt Shark Biggest Whip competition. Blake Williams, Harry Bink, Nate Adams and Taka Higashino, the first Japanese freestyle motocross rider to win an X-games medal will compete with the likes of Jackson Strong, Adam Jones and David Rinaldo in the Freestyle Motocross (FMX) competition. Additional riders hailing from around the globe will round out the event.

"The Monster Energy Cup is a headline Monster event and adding the freestyle component of motocross with an all-star line-up will definitely elevate the overall event and fan experience this year," said Monster Energy Vice President of Sports Marketing, Mitch Covington.

The Monster Energy Cup Pit Party is a big part of the fan experience as thousands come early to take part in the festival-like atmosphere and meet Supercross' elite, including Ryan Dungey, Ken Roczen, Chad Reed, Marvin Musquin, Jason Anderson, Eli Tomac, Justin Barcia, Trey Canard, Cooper Webb and more. Every pro supercross team will have a presence at the Pit Party and riders will be available to sign autographs.

The Monster Energy Cup Pit Party is free of charge with a valid Monster Energy Cup ticket. The Monster Energy FMX High Rollers contest will start at 1:30 with the Dirt Shark Biggest Whip competition, followed by Freestyle Motocross (FMX) at 2:30 p.m., and then the FMX Quarter Pipe Big Air competition at 4:30 p.m.
