In scorching hot and humid conditions Mike Lafferty has taken his KTM 450 EXC to victory in the 2003 AMA National Enduro Championship this past weekend (31st-Aug) by placing third in round 9 of the 10 race series. This moves Mike into third place all time for AMA Enduro Championships with six championships to his name. KTM is also now eights times Enduro Champions, counting the victories of Kevin Hines and Jeff Russell.
The final round of the U.S AMA Enduro Championship takes place on September 28th in Texas.
