Former US Motocross Champion Mike Brown has pulled out of this weekends second round of the FIM World Motocross Championship that is to be held in Bellpuig, Spain.
Whilst there has been mountains of speculation over the past week as to the 31-year-old veterans movements or situation nothing had been confirmed after he struggled with arm pump at round 1 of the motocross championship and simply pulled out after the first moto at the third round of the British Championship.
In a statement released on Cyclenews browns publicist stated, "His team had until midnight last night, April 14th, to fulfill certain contractual obligations, but unfortunately were unable to do so".
"This comes as a big blow to Mike, as he had his heart set on winning this year‰Ûªs FIM MX2 World Championship, which has been his dream since childhood. By not attending this weekend‰Ûªs race, Mike will now be down by potentially 50 more points should Tyla Rattray win both motos as he did at round one, two weeks ago at Zolder, Belgium".
An announcement from Brown's race team, RWJ Honda is expected soon to give their version of events.
