Mike Alessi headed for Europe

Mike Alessi is headed for Italy where the American hopes to compete in a few of the European GP warm up races over the coming weeks on the new KTM350 SX. The exact schedule may change a crash in his final ride that has left him a bit sore. "Today we prepare for our first leg of a three week Alessi euro tour," Alessi said. "We arrive in Italy later this week to begin testing our European Grand Prix MX1 race bike then head over to a Mantova, Italy, for the first international gathering of the season called the Starcross. "After the Starcross the next event will be in Montevarchi for the Italian championship opening round, then to Valence for the International race of France," he explained. The final plans will be confirmed after testing the bike on Thursday. Alessi's last hit out in the USA was at Bostwick Creek Motocross in Green Cove Springs Florida, the video clip above shows him getting the miles in on the new 350.
