Active8 Yamaha Yamalube Racing Team rider Tom McCormack battled tough, rocky and dusty conditions aboard his YZ250F to score the top spot in the second round of the 2013 the Yamaha Queensland 2-Day Enduro Championships, held at the weekend near Mount Perry.
The 20-year-old finished 13-seconds ahead of Lachlan Stanford after sixteen tests and about ten hours on the bike.
Ten-time state title winner, Kirk Hutton, blitzed the field in the Masters Expert Class and put in a time quick enough to position him in third Outright, while Tamara Gray proved to be too quick in the Women's class taking out the Ladies all powers. Dylan Brown kept up Yamaha's winning ways claiming the top prize in Junior class.
