The Pedercini team has confirmed that Matteo Baiocco will join their team to contest the 2010 World Superbike championship season.
In 2003 Baiocco won the European Supersport championship and in 2004 he made his debut on the International scene competing in the Supersport World Championship. In 2006, the 26-year old participated in the Stock FIM Cup 1000 Championship and he reached the 3th place in the 2007 championship standing.
Last year Matteo moved to the World Superbike Championship with the PSG-1 Kawasaki team, but due to the retirement of the Italian team, Baiocco ended the season with the Guandalini Ducati team.
This year, Baiocco has joined up with the Pedercini team, and his team-mate will be Roger Lee Hayden.
