American freestyle motocross legend Carey Hart took some time off between his intense Hart and Huntington tours to ride with Motorex KTM freestyle rider Matt Schubring at his private training facility in Boonah, QLD.
Schubring‰Ûªs home track is renowned in the motocross industry for being one of the most challenging dirt bike parks in the world, and it was too hard for Hart to pass up riding while he was travelling through Australia.
Hart had only just finished performing at the Brisbane leg of the Hart and Huntington tour before travelling to Boonah to try his hand at some of Schuie‰Ûªs innovative jumps. Schuie has opened his facility up once before to the public when he held ‰Û÷Schuie‰Ûªs Winter Warmer‰Ûª last August. There was a full days racing of mini bikes and just a taste of the freestyle motocross jumps including the huge 180 feet hill jump that made the crowd feel like they were in a ‰Û÷Crusty Demon‰Ûªs‰Ûª video.
‰ÛÏI love this place. The variety of tracks, and jumps that Schuie has built here are amazing. You can ride for hours, and keep finding new jumps to conquer which is the reason I started riding. The way he has used the shape of his land to his advantage is brilliant‰Û
