Mason Semmens will join the Trail Jesters KTM Racing team and ride a 2022 KTM 250 XC-F in the XC2 Pro 250 class of the 2022 AMA Grand National Cross Country Series.
Semmens won the E1 (Pro 250) class the first two rounds of the 2021 Australian Off-Road Championship before the series was cancelled due to the pandemic. Semmens also won his class, and was second overall, at the 2021 4-hour Hattah Desert Race. The 20-year-old hails from Melbourne and before moving to off-road racing two years ago was a multi-time Australian Junior 125cc and 250cc Motocross Champion.
“I am very excited, and very grateful, for the opportunity Trail Jesters KTM Racing has given me. I can’t wait to line up at my first GNCC just a few months from now,” Semmens said.
Team Owner, Ross Mauri added. “I think that Mason has an enormous amount of potential and I am thrilled that he was interested in coming to race in America. We are all excited to be working with him and look forward to a great 2022 season.”
