Hunter Valley young guns Tom Pearce and Denny Cox stole the show to claim the 2012 Australian Under 16 Speedway Sidecar Championship at Loxford Park, Kurri Kurri on Sunday.

In a battle of the nation's premier junior Speedway Sidecar riders, it took a brilliant performance from Pearce and Cox in the A Final to better the talented pairings of Victorians Ashley Duncan/Kaleb Kennedy and South Australians Jake Mitchell/Dakota Ballantyne.

Mitchell/Ballantyne were the dominant pairing through the heats, scoring a maximum 12 points to book a spot alongside Pearce/Cox in the A Final.

They were joined by Duncan/Kennedy after the duo came through a Run-Off before winning the B Final.
