SIC Racing made their MX Nationals debut for the 2014 season, at round seven at Conondale - a round both Lawson Bopping and Dylan Peterson are now eager to put behind them.
After Peterson and Bopping collectively only finished one moto at round seven, both boys are looking to Raymond Terrace in the hope that they can string three solid motos together and have some fun with the team.
Bopping, who suffered a DNF in moto one at Conondale and was unable to race for the remainder of the round, says that he‰Ûªs looking forward to getting back out there and would be happy with a top five finish in a packed MX1 class.
‰ÛÏI‰Ûªm feeling pretty good actually." Bopping stated. "I haven‰Ûªt had a whole lot of time on the Kawasaki, but I‰Ûªm excited and keen to get back out and race.
‰ÛÏAt Conondale I had a mechanical problem which is just part of racing. The bike was completely stock and only had a pipe and ignition, so it‰Ûªs just one of those freak things that‰Ûªs no ones fault. I‰Ûªve got a really good mechanic who has come down to help me with some training this week, so that has been really good to get in some bike time.
‰ÛÏThis weekend I just want to go out and have fun. It‰Ûªs my second race back and if I don‰Ûªt have fun I‰Ûªll be really bummed. But a top five would be nice.‰Û
