Everything has fallen into place perfectly for what promises to be an enthralling final round of action, when Round 3 of the 2014 KTM Australian Enduro-X Nationals makes its way to Calder Park this Sunday the 2nd of March.
With Australian riders competing evenly with the world‰Ûªs best, not even world Enduro-X No. 2 rider Mike Brown from Husqvarna USA could not match the talented lineup of Australian riders at the Sydney round of the series just over a week ago.
In what was described by the media as a world-class track that extracted every ounce of skill and talent that the riders could give, Brown had to settle for third place.
Each round of the series has allowed a two-week break in between events, and RBP Promotions‰Ûª Dave Robbins announced today that the organisers and riders are ready for the final round at Melbourne‰Ûªs Calder Park Raceway on Sunday 2nd March 2014.
The venue has had a major track revamp from last year‰Ûªs event and is now set up for the organisers as they return to Melbourne for the final round. The course will also take riders up the side of the old Thunderdome wall.
RBP promotions has expanded a very successful single event at Calder Park in Melbourne to a three-state series at major, well-serviced venues. The MA sanctioned event has the total support of the industry, the riders and now the Australian public have the chance to see the sport that has gone to huge heights in Europe and USA.
Ticket sales for the events have been strong. Most classes are either full or nearing capacity as Melbourne riders and fans have shown their thirst for this extreme event.
