The KTM Racing Team and Noah Ferguson have mutually agreed to an early release from his contract, effective immediately, following an injury that derailed his 2025 Australian Supercross Championship campaign.
Ferguson’s season was disrupted after he sustained an injury at the opening round of AUSX in Redcliffe, which ruled him out of Round 3 in Cronulla and ultimately compromised his championship hopes. After assessing his recovery timeline and future ambitions, both parties agreed it was in their best interests for Ferguson to step away from the program, allowing him to explore potential racing opportunities overseas.
Ferguson joined the KTM Racing Team ahead of the 2025 ProMX and AUSX Championships and went on to impress in his debut season with the factory squad, finishing third overall in the MX2 standings during the outdoor campaign.
KTM Australia thanked Ferguson for his professionalism and commitment throughout the 2025 season, acknowledging his contribution to the team and supporting his goal of pursuing an international racing career.
“The team appreciates Noah’s efforts and results during the 2025 season and fully supports his ambition to test himself internationally,” the statement said.
Looking ahead, the KTM Racing Team will continue its 2025 AUSX campaign with Dylan Walsh in SX1, Byron Dennis in SX2, and Jackson Fuller in SX3. Meanwhile, SX1 rider Nathan Crawford has been confirmed to return to competition at the AUSX Open in Melbourne on November 22.
