Product Release

Kawasaki Versys 1000

Posted:

Kawasaki have introduced another new and exciting product to its expanding model line-up with today's release of the 2012 Kawasaki Versys 1000.

Whether riding solo or two-up, around the corner or around the globe, the 2012 Versys 1000's unique combination of a highly responsive in-line four engine tuned for flexibility, and a nimble chassis fitted with dynamic suspension will get you there in style and comfort.

With features like long travel suspension, comfortable upright seating position, 17 inch wheels, high-range fuel tank and adjustable windscreen, the 2012 Kawasaki Versys 1000 extends the "any street, any time" promise to the litre-bike class.

However it's not just new hardware that makes the new Versys 1000 special. Thanks to an impressive new electronics package, normally at home on the Ninja ZX-14R and Ninja ZX-10R, the 2012 Versys 1000 is a motorcycle at the cutting edge of technology. The new Versys 1000 comes equipped in standard trim with 3-mode KTRC (Kawasaki TRaction Control), ABS and 2-mode power selection.

Created as the long awaited big brother of Kawasaki's mid-size "any street" machine (the Versys ABS 650), Kawasaki's new Versys 1000 is designed to enable the greatest riding enjoyment in the widest variety of street riding situations.

Kawasaki is confident that the new 2012 Versys 1000 will find success in the Australian market-place by offering consumers a comfortable, nimble and potent Adventure-Tourer that offers high rider confidence on a variety of road surfaces, at a competitive price.

The 2012 Kawasaki Versys 1000 is available now at Kawasaki dealerships in Pearl Stardust White at the RRP of $15,999 + ORC.
