Kawasaki Confirms Adam Monea and Jake Moss For 2014 MX/SX Racing Season

Posted:

Kawasaki has confirmed that Adam Monea and Jake Moss will ride for the manufacturer in Australia in the MX1 class in 2014 to contest the 2014 Australian Motocross and Supercross Championships.

The newly signed Jake Moss will race a KX450F alongside Adam Monea who goes into his second year with the factory Kawasaki racing outfit.

Fresh from his 2nd place overall finish in the 2013 Australian Supercross Championship, Jake Moss joins Kawasaki in form and hungry for a championship win.

Moss is no stranger to the Kawasaki KX450F. The 2007 Australian 250 MX champion raced for the then injured Ryan Villopoto with Monster Energy Kawasaki in the USA in 2009 where he managed two 2nd place moto finishes in the AMA MX Championship.

Moss will look to continue his good fortunes on board Kawasaki in the 2014 racing season with his new Australian Kawasaki factory team and is confident of good results.

‰ÛÏI rode the KX450F as a senior in the USA in 2009 and gelled with it so well and I‰Ûªve always looked for the opportunity to get back on a Kawasaki," Moss stated. "Finally everything has fallen into place now and I get the chance to ride the bike that I‰Ûªve really wanted to ride for years.‰Û

After showing numerous glimpses of genius throughout 2013, Adam Monea will look to reach his potential in 2014 when he goes into his second year with Kawasaki.

Prevented from competing in the recent Australian Supercross Championship due to a pre-series injury, Adam Monea is now healthy, fit, fast and ready to shine in 2014.

‰ÛÏI feel lucky and happy to carry on with Kawasaki in 2014. We had good times but also some injuries last year but we worked well." Monea explained. "I can‰Ûªt wait to get going and get 2014 underway and make it a good year.‰Û
