BTO KTM's Justin Brayton won the 2015 Genova Supercross held in Italy on Saturday the 7th of November.

The American rider battled it out for the prestigious title of King of Genova in front of more than 15,000 people with the 31 year old holding off challenges from his American counterparts and European challengers on his way to securing his third Genoa title after also laying claim to the crown previously in 2009 and 2012.

It was a night filled with mixed results as Brayton lead home an all American podium in the opening Supercross class race of the evening, edging out Star Racing Yamaha's Cooper Webb and RCH Factory Suzuki rider Broc Tickle.

While Brayton did not feature in the overall results in the second SX class race, it was another all American podium, with Webb finishing ahead of Geiko Honda's Justin Bogle with Tickle once again rounding out the podium.

Webb's consistency over the two races was enough for the young American to claim the SX class win for the night, however the big event for the evening was still set to play out as the riders took to the line for the winner take all, 20 lap King Of Genova event.

Brayton made his intentions clear from the start of the main event, quickly working his way into the lead, with fellow Ameican and pre-race favorite Webb rounding the first lap in fourth postion.

CLS Kawasaki rider Dylan Ferrnadis looked as though he was going to be the rider to challange Brayton early until a crash in the wave section bought his chances of a race win to a early end.

It was then Webb who looked as though he would be the rider of the night, making a charge into second position and in the process posted the fastest lap of the main event, however on lap nine he also suffered from a crash that would see not only his chances of a race win vanquishing, but also leaving the number one plated Yamaha retired from the event.

In the end Brayton raced a way to a six second win ahead of Frenchman Cedric Soubeyras, with standing contruct Yamaha rider Valentin Gulliod coming home in third position to round out the podium.
