Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing has paid tribute to Justin Barcia following a memorable five-year partnership that saw the American star etch his name into the brand’s racing history books with its first-ever 450SX Main Event and 450MX overall victories.

Barcia, affectionately known as “BamBam”, joined the team ahead of the 2021 AMA Supercross season, debuting aboard the GASGAS MC 450F. He made an immediate impact, storming to victory at the opening round in Houston – a win that not only marked his first with the brand but also GASGAS’ maiden Supercross Main Event triumph.

That breakthrough result set the tone for a red-hot debut year, as Barcia went on to claim three more indoor podium finishes and secure fourth overall in the final 450SX standings. His momentum continued into Pro Motocross, where he delivered another milestone for the brand by taking GASGAS’ first-ever 450MX overall win at the Spring Creek National, courtesy of a strong 1-2 moto scorecard.

Over the following four seasons, Barcia remained a front-runner in both AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross, adding a steady stream of podium results and another 450SX Main Event win to his name in 2023 at East Rutherford. His consistent performances also saw him finish fifth overall in both the 2022 and 2023 AMA Supercross Championships, further solidifying his role in establishing GASGAS as a genuine contender in North American racing.

Most recently, during the 2025 SuperMotocross World Championship season, Barcia wrapped up the year 10th overall with Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing.

Known for his fiery charisma and never-say-die attitude on track, the 33-year-old from Monroe, New York, leaves behind a lasting legacy with the team. In thanking him for his contribution, Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing acknowledged Barcia’s pivotal role in shaping the brand’s success in the U.S., expressing gratitude for his relentless dedication and wishing him the very best in the next chapter of his career.
