With an atmosphere and build up like never before, round two of the 2010 The Helmet Warehouse NSW Junior Motocross Championships at Hastings Valley MCC in Port Macquarie didn't disappoint, turning on one of the best rounds of NSW MX over the long-weekend.
Despite the nasty weather leading into round two, perfect conditions, an awesome track and a huge rider line-up awaited in Port Macquarie, and from the outset, it was clear that everyone was ready for some action-packed racing.
With a big crowd lining the fence and with music, trade stalls and Hastings Valley's awesome cafe-style canteen serving up a truck load of food, the atmosphere was as good as it gets and kicked-off the what was to be the near-perfect motocross weekend.
GMR Motorex KTM was represented at round two, lining up 85cc World MX Champ Jay Wilson and pocket rocket Reece Rayner on the start line. Both boys set about destroying the Hastings Valley track immediately, on route to scoring a perfect scorecard across the weekend respectively and grabbing their fair share of trophies.
In the 250cc Under 15 class Wilson didn't have it all his own way with Jake Vella and Luke Clout sharing the wins with the Queenslander. At the end of the day though it was Wilson with 65 points to Vella's 61 and Clouts 57.
‰ÛÏOn my KTM 250 SX-F I had two qualifying races, I won both of these and also set the fastest lap time which was pretty cool,‰Û
