Julien Beaumer fought through adversity at Round 7 of the 2025 AMA Supercross Championship in Arlington, salvaging a sixth-place overall finish despite a shoulder injury sustained in practice.

The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider entered the night holding the 250SX West championship lead, and after clocking the third-fastest qualifying time, expectations were high. However, a crash in practice resulted in a dislocated shoulder, forcing the 18-year-old into damage-control mode for the Triple Crown event.

Struggling with mid-pack starts and discomfort, Beaumer delivered 6-8-4 finishes across the three races—an impressive effort given the circumstances. His fourth-place result in the final race was his strongest ride of the night, showcasing his resilience despite the pain.

“Tough night in Arlington,” Beaumer admitted. “A crash in practice dislocated my shoulder, and I just had to manage things from there. My riding wasn’t the greatest, but all we can do is shift our focus and get ready for Indy. We’ll get the shoulder checked out this week, get back to work, and come out swinging.”

Despite the setback, Beaumer remains firmly in the 250SX West title fight, now sitting just six points behind new leader Haiden Deegan. His focus is on returning to full strength for Indianapolis.
