2013 X-Games Silver medallist and top AMA 450 Supercross racer, Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Suzuki RCH Racing Team's Josh Hill is a confirmed starter for this years Australian Supercross Championship which kicks off in mid September.
Hill will race aboard a Hart and Huntington / InsureMyRide / DPH Motorsports Suzuki for the entire six round series which will be held over four weekends in three states, starting with a big double header in Darwin on the 14th and 15th of September.
While intitially looking to head to Australia to compete in a few Motocross rounds as well as the full Supercross season, the decision was made to focus on the SX season only in the end.
"The deal to have Josh Hill came about when Kenny Watson the RCH team manager hit me up saying that Hill was super keen to race in Australia." Kale Wallis from Hart and Huntington Australia told fullnoise.com.au. "It was planned that he would do maybe 3-4 MX rounds but we did not plan to race MX this year only SX.
Fans heading to this years Australian supercross championship will not only have the chance to watch Hill in action on track, but also a chance to get up close and personal to his team and race bike.
"We plan to have a RMZ450 on display at all rounds and you will be able to get your picture taken one of Josh's bike during the break behind the Hart and Huntington / InsureMyRide / DPH Motorsports Suzuki back drop." Wallis continued. "Fans pictures will then be emailed across to them the following Monday.
"We will also have race day signings and some other bits and pieces that both InsureMyRide and myself have planned," Wallis concluded.
