Jeremy Seewer and Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP will conclude their partnership after the upcoming FIM Motocross of Nations (MXoN), where Seewer will represent Switzerland for the twelfth time in his career.
Seewer joined the Kawasaki team last winter after leaving the Yamaha Factory Team and has delivered a strong season, scoring points in all but one moto and securing top-six finishes in thirteen GPs. His highlights include a moto win in Turkey and podium finishes in both Turkey and Italy. He is currently ranked fourth in the FIM MXGP World Championship standings.
Seewer, who recently celebrated his 200th consecutive GP start at his home GP, will make his final appearance for Kawasaki during the MXoN in Great Britain in early October.
Team Manager, Antti Pyrhönen commented: “This year we had our most formidable rider line up since we assumed responsibility for the Kawasaki MXGP project. We want to thank Jeremy for his contribution to the team and we are especially pleased he was riding a KX450-SR for this 200th consecutive MXGP start. As he leaves us in a few races time for a new challenge in 2025, we wish him well and hope that he continues to enjoy the sport he has dedicated his life to”.
While his future team remains speculative, it is expected that Seewer will continue to compete in MXGP next season.
