Jason Crump swept to a clear and decisive victory at the British Speedway Grand Prix held at the packed Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday night claiming his fifth British title and a record-breaking 21 Grand Prix wins.
The capacity crowd witnessed Crump at his absolute best and clearly superior to all of his challengers, as he went through the field with a perfect score winning seven races from seven starts and collecting a maximum score of 24-points plus double prizemoney as a SuperPrix bonus.
Crump has now extended his lead in the championship to 31-points from his nearest rival, but remains philosophical about the remainder of the Grand Prix calendar.
