Australian Pro Lites Motocross champion Jake Moss has signed to ride for the Star Racing/Lucas Oil/Yamaha team in the United States for the 2008 & 2009 AMA Lites Supercross/Outdoor series.
An opportunity arose of getting Jake Moss‰Ûªs #903 services beginning this season. Star Racing arranged a test and really took a liking to the newly crowned champion.
"With his remarkable skills on a motorcycle, and a personality with endless amounts of drive we felt it would be a good fit in our program to bring Moss here full time in 2008. In return, bringing Jake to the states fulfills a goal of racing in America for him and once again Star Racing is able to take a talented rider and make him successful. Jake will began adapting to who his sweet new ride as of early next week and plans on making his debut at the Steel City MX National," Star Yamaha stated in a team press release.
When interviewed, Moss said these were the keys to his decision. ‰Û
