The final round of the Honda ‰Û÷Girls on The Gas‰Ûª competition has been completed under extreme conditions at the Lake Macquarie Motocross circuit near Newcastle, NSW.
Torrential rain throughout the previous night made the hard packed track almost unrideable, however the riders were not lacking in motivation and successfully made it through both days.
With record entry numbers at the NSW event for the second year running, it was local girl Jacqui Jones who stole the show with a complete set of skills that will make her hard to beat later in the year come ‰Û÷Final Showdown‰Ûª.
‰ÛÏJacqui came a close second last year at the NSW event to state winner Tahlia Neilson,‰Û
