Hawera‰Ûªs Daryl Hurley romped to three easy wins at the Auckland Motocross Championships near Tuakau, New Zealand, on Sunday, while Hamilton‰Ûªs Darryll King did the same in the 250cc class.
The 125cc class was less cut and dried with Taupo‰Ûªs Brad Groombridge (Kawasaki) winning the class on a count-back from King‰Ûªs Subway Yamaha team-mate, younger brother Damien King.
National 125cc champion Damien King finished 1-3, while Groombridge finished 3-1, with the 16-year-old Taupo rider getting the nod because of his superior result in the second race.
The day‰Ûªs third 125cc race was abandoned after rain arrived and turned the track into a dangerous ‰ÛÏice rink‰Û
