HRC rider Tim Gajser heads to Switzerland this weekend for the second in a trio of back-to-back races, as the FIM Motocross World Championship heads towards the final few races of the season.
Gajser had in Switzerland here last year with a podium finish. The defending World Champion had his work cut out when a crash hindered his hope of a win in the first race and then he endured a nail biting battle with Cairoli in the second moto.
Frauenfeld was a new track on the calendar in 2016 and is a hard packed man-made track on flat ground. The track is surrounded by grand stands to make easy viewing for spectators.
"Last weekend was a tough one for me and this season I haven't had much luck," Gajser lamented. "I am going to train even harder this week in the lead up to Switzerland.
"Even though I am training hard and pushing hard, to give it my best every weekend I will try hard to give it that little bit more. I know In Switzerland the ground is hard pack which suits me more, the track is also really nice so I am looking ahead and looking forward to a better weekend.
Gajser cirrently sits 6th in the MXGP Championship standings.
