British Motocross Championship contender Jamie Law is a confirmed entrant in the Pro-Open class of round 5 of the Rockstar Energy Drinks MX Nationals at Toowoomba this weekend.
He will be teaming up with Louis Calvin aboard the Herb Watson Racing KTM 350 machine. This will be Jamie's second visit down under as he spent a few weeks in WA during 2006 but it will be his first crack at the MX Nationals and he's really looking forward to it.
"I can't wait to get over there!" said Jamie, "I don't know exactly what to expect but I've raced alot with BillyMac and Michael Phillips in the British Championships and with Louis over in WA and they're all running up there in the top 10 at the moment so hopefully I can put the bike somewhere in amongst them!"
"Larry at Herb Watson Racing is giving me this opportunity and I'm also very exited about the Manjimup 15000 (Sun 5th Jun)," Shaw continued. " I've heard so much about the track and the special atmosphere of the event and it's shaping up to be a great weekend with several top Aussie based riders already confirmed and with others flying in, there could be up to 5 countries represented for the International Cup (which Brad Anderson won last year), so I'm really looking forward to it.
"I can't thank everyone enough, Larry Watson, Willie Thompson, WEM, and the Calvin family have all pulled together to make this trip possible. I'd also like to thank KTM, Pirelli and Motul for their help and hopefully I can pay them all back with some good results," Law concluded.
Law currently sits 12th in the British MX1 championship after four rounds.
