Posted:

Racing into Honda Dealerships this week is Honda's Limited Edition Repsol CBR1000RR embodying championship winning credentials and iconic racing livery.

Only 130 Limited Edition Repsol CBR1000RRs have been manufactured for the Australian market and to ensure validity, each one will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

No other supersport motorcycle combines power, handling, ride quality and overall build quality like Honda's versatile CBR1000RR does. For over 20 years, Honda's CBR1000RR has been celebrated as a legend both on track and road offering riders a complete package of superior feel and performance.

Taking inspiration from Honda's MotoGP history, the iconic Repsol colours will complement the unique bodywork of the CBR1000RR and pay tribute to the ongoing success of the Repsol Honda MotoGP team.

Honda's Limited Edition Repsol CBR1000RR boasts an incredibly competitive MLP of $16,890 (this is the Manufacturers List Price and excludes registration and on-road costs).

The CBR1000RR's race-proven 999cc engine smoothly pumps out huge midrange power and torque for class-leading strength while the lightweight aluminium frame is equipped with a modern design Big Piston Fork and Honda's Unit Pro-LinkеЁ rear suspension system.

The compact second-generation Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) helps maintain predictable high-speed handling and low-speed manoeuvrability; this is one of the keys to the CBR1000RR's extraordinary handling.

Like its predecessors, Honda's CBR1000RR is characterised by a look of speed and dynamism, and with the introduction of the Repsol livery for 2013, this racing image is further highlighted. With a line-beam headlight and air intake shapes adding even greater sharpness, the Fireblade offers a novel and intrepid front face.
For those who prefer a more traditional look for their supersports machine, Honda's legendary Fireblade will be also be released in three new standard colours including a Graphite Black
