"The guys at Yamaha Queensland are switched on and oversee the biggest racing market in the country. After the success of their junior program in 2006, we were only too happy to come on board with the senior team and are proud to take the naming rights," says division leader Greg Haring. "We look forward to a successful year with them and also continue our relationship with the junior team as well."
In addition to GYTR, Shift, Alpinestars, D.I.D, Oakley, Pirelli, Talon, Fox, Yamalube, SMG, DEP Quick Shift, DB Race Suspension, Unifilter, iKat, RHK, Universal Metal and SBS have provided considerable support for the new team.
The Queensland motocross calendar kicks off on January 6 with a rash of stadium motocross events before heading out to the great outdoors and Australia‰Ûªs most popular motocross series, the Sunshine State Series gets under way in early February. It‰Ûªs going to be an exciting ride.
