Polish speedway city Gorzow will continue to host the FIM Speedway World Championships for the next four seasons.

SGP and SWC rights holders BSI Speedway agreed a new deal with the Stal Gorzow club and City of Gorzow to keep the Gorzow FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Poland at the Edward Jancarz Stadium until 2018.

Following that, the venue will host the sport‰Ûªs most prestigious team events in 2019 ‰ÛÒ the FIM Speedway World Cup Race Off and Final.

Gorzow has staged an SGP round every season since 2011 ‰ÛÒ the year the SWC Race Off and Final last took place there.

BSI Speedway managing director Torben Olsen is excited to continue bringing the sport‰Ûªs biggest names to a true speedway city.

‰ÛÏThe Gorzow SGP of Poland has all the ingredients of a fantastic event." Olsen said. "The Edward Jancarz Stadium is one of the best purpose-built speedway venues in the world. The track delivers consistently superb racing. And the city truly loves the sport of speedway, with fans everywhere you turn.

‰ÛÏAs a city, Gorzow is growing and developing at a great pace. We notice improvements and changes every time we visit.

‰ÛÏThe speedway club is at the very heart and soul of the city and we look forward to working with Gorzow to stage more world-class racing over the next four years.‰Û
