Glenn Macdonald Racing KTM (GMR-KTM) riders are primed and ready to race the Australian Junior Motocross Titles at Coolum, QLD in the week 25-30 September 2007.
All team riders are fit and well and are eagerly anticipating the coming event.
Jeremy Tyndall who will contest the 9-u12 year 85cc class on his KTM 85SX is back after recent injury and is very close to peak performance as evidenced by his 2-2-1 results at a recent regional event in western Victoria. Young Tyndall gave the current Victorian number 1 plate holder in the class a run for his money on the sandy track in the first two races, then cleaned up the final moto with a convincing win.
Joben Baldwin will be in full flight in the 12-14 years 85cc class and certainly has people talking with recent wins against the current Victorian State Champion at Maffra and an impressive second place finishes to team mate, Dylan Berwick last weekend at the sandy Colac circuit.
Dylan Berwick will contest both the 12-14 years 85cc and 13-1u15 years 125cc classes at the Australian Titles, and on his return from his significant recent injuries consisting of a broken wrist and collarbone is coming back stronger and more determined than ever. Berwick is riding the wheels of both KTM‰Ûªs and recently cleaned up at a regional meet on his KTM 125SX by half a lap on the rest of the field.
Annissa Berichon will contest both the 13-u15 year 125 and 250 classes and is also progressing well. Berichon recently contested an arena-cross meeting in a combined A, B and C grade class only to hole shot some of the hottest riders in the country right now. Berichon has been training regularly and is keen to qualifying for the finals against the boys.
Jarryd McNeil has recently returned from his free-style / motocross trip in Singapore and has spent an incredible amount of time on the bike training with some top Pro riders. All the hard work is reflected in his recent 1-1-1 wins at a regional meeting at Rosebud on the seniors track against the likes of Ross Beaton, HRA and Timothy Lonsdale.
‰ÛÏAll in all, things are looking positive for the team. We couldn‰Ûªt ask for a better lead up to the event and we are looking forward to a strong presence at the Australian Junior Motocross Titles along with the Motorex KTM race team and other KTM riders who are sure to be at the pointy end of the field,‰Û
