After parting ways with Josh Hansen last week, Joe Gibbs Racing (JGRMX/Toyota/Yamaha) have signed Gavin Gracyk for the 2008 AMA Toyota Motocross Championship series, which begins at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, Calif., on May 25.
The 24-year old from Ohio, who will be competing in the premier motocross class aboard a YZ450F, is widely known for his determination. Riding as a true privateer, Gracyk finished ninth overall in the motocross class in the 2007 AMA Toyota Motocross Championship, posting 11 top-ten moto finishes.
Since January, Gracyk has been riding for the Troy Lee Designs/Honda/Red Bull Supercross team in the Lites class, and will finish the Lites West Supercross season with Troy Lee. ‰ÛÏTroy has been a huge supporter of my program,‰Û
