With a recent succession of MXGP round wins, Romain Febvre will be aiming to propel the team to victory on their home turf.

The French Motocross of Nations Team has been announced for the upcoming 2023 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, scheduled to occur at the scenic Ernée track in France from October 6th to 8th.

With the event set to take place on their home soil, the French team is gearing up with an exciting and highly competitive roster: Romain Febvre, Tom Vialle, and Maxime Renaux. The trio will be focused on securing a home victory.

Nestled in the heart of the picturesque town of Ernée in the Pays de la Loire region of northwestern France, the undulating motocross track will provide plenty of challenges for all teams.

Maxime Renaux will be the French representative in the Open class.

Team France boasts a strong history in the Motocross of Nations. They clinched the championship victory in an impressive streak from 2014 to 2018 and have emerged as victors a total of six times. In light of this strong track record, anticipation is high for this year’s event as they strive to reign supreme on their own turf once again.

In the MXGP category, Romain Febvre, currently second in the 2023 MXGP standings, will be leading the charge, bringing his current winning form to the forefront.

Tom Vialle, who is currently competing in the 250 class in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, will be taking on the MX2 category. Lastly, rounding out the trio of talented riders, Maxime Renaux, who has just returned to the MXGP class following recent injuries, will be the team’s representative in the MX Open class.

One unhappy Frenchman is Dylan Ferrandis who has shown front-running pace in the 2023 AMA Motocross Championship. “I will apply for a US passport, might have a chance to ride MXoN again!”. Ferrandis said on Instagram, clearly unhappy about missing out on team selection.
