The Tour Down Under is not the only thing on in Adelaide this week, Speedway fans can take in four consecutive nights of motorcycle speedway action.
After many years of trying to get the junior and senior Australian Solo Championships scheduled to coincide with each other, going back to the 1980s, it is going to happen this season with the Australian Under 16 125cc Solo Championship meetings being staged at the Sidewinders' track either side of the senior Championship at Gillman Speedway.
The action starts on Thursday night (20 January) with a qualifying meeting for the Australian Under 16 125cc Solo Individual Championship at the Sidewinders track.
Ten riders from this will go forward to the actual Championship meeting the next night, Friday night, 21 January.

Finally, on the Sunday night (23 January) it is back to the Sidewinders for the Australian Under 16 125cc Solo Teams [Pairs] Championship.
Racing at the Gillman meeting starts at 7.30 p.m., with the gates open from 3 p.m.
