Enduro X coming to Australia

Posted:

Just after the successful Las Vegas Enduro X in late 2004, we made the prediction in one of our Fullnoise Newsletters that the discipline of Enduro X would hit Australia and be big. It seems that prediction is coming true with Southern Cross Promotions (SCP), the people responsible for the hugely successful Australian Motorcycle Expo announcing that they will incorporate such an event into the 2005 edition on Sunday 18th September, 2005. For those that don't know Enduro X is the sport sweeping American and European crowds of their feet. Enduro X is endurance on a purpose built indoor track complete with stadium seating for spectators, competitors have obstacles such as log crossing, deep ruts, sand, water crossing, hill climbs and much more to deal with on a track the size of an indoor supercross track. Southern Cross Promotions said in a statement to the media that they have wanted to bring Enduro X to Australia for a long time. Having already announced that the Expo will feature a Supercross Skins event on the Saturday they will now add the Enduro X on the Sunday. The Yamaha Motor Australia supported event will see Australia‰Ûªs top Enduro riders competing along with support races for Media, Celebrities and Legends. Tickets are limited to 3000 seats and will sell out extremely fast. Tickets on sale June 13th 2005 and can be purchased online at - www.australianmotorcycleexpo.com.au Check out images from LAS VEGAS Endurocross at www.endurocrossusa.com/photogallery
