Wellard/CLAAS /Yamaha‰Ûªs female Enduro rider Dimity-Lee Duke has taken the lead in the Western Australian Women‰Ûªs Off-road Championship.
The twenty six year old from Treendale, near Bunbury, powered her YZ250F to the top of the class after a hard earned victory in the South Western town of Harvey which will be the site for the 2013 Australian 4 Day Enduro.
After moving up to the men‰Ûªs experts division in 2012 to increase her speed, Duke easily dominated the female‰Ûªs class. With a little rain in the days leading up to the event the trail was in great shape with no dust, thus setting the scene for the 170km loop and four special tests.
With the special tests and trails being really fast with plenty of pea gravel, intense concentration was essential and the day came down to who could hold the throttle wide open for the longest and brake the latest.
