With the opening round of the 2011 Rockstar MX Nationals, just days away, Monster Energy Kawasaki rider, Dean Ferris, gives his thoughts on the upcoming race season.
"The 2010 season was a such a great experience for me," reflected Ferris.
"As my first season on the 450 I really didn't know what to expect, but it was awesome, and to top it off I got to ride for Australia in the MXoN! Now for 2011 Monster Energy Kawasaki have given me a super opportunity to hopefully step it up another level, with awesome support and a fantastic bike package.
"It has taken some adjusting to get used to my 'Green Machine', but now I feel totally at home on it, and ready to race. The series is gonna be tough, there are a bunch of real fast guys ready to fight for the title, but Billy Mac and myself have a good team behind us, and we'll hopefully be fighting for the wins," the Andrew McFarlane cup winner (Pro Open privateer of the year award) concluded.
Round one takes place at Broadford, Victoria, this coming Sunday. head to
