The penultimate round of the 2011 World Speedway Grand Prix series takes place this Saturday night at Gorican in Croatia and Australian Jason Crump is ready for action and wants a big result.
Crump finished in third place at this venue in 2010 after the event was washed out on the Saturday evening and run the following day in better and safer conditions.
"I like this track and managed to get on the podium last year." said Crump, who currently lies fourth in the championship points table. "So if I can finish on the podium again this year, my chances of a silver or bronze medal is very possible."
"I came away from Vojens in Sweden pretty happy with my result as I had not been on the podium for quite some time and I needed a good result like that to give me a boost."
"Now I need to finish off the season on a high, so I need to collect a big handful of points at the next two GP's. Hancock is too far ahead on points, but I have Jonsson and Hampel in my sights and I'm well within striking distance to finish second in the World Championship this year."
