Corey James Rockets To KSF ECSTAR Suzuki Racings Best Result of the Season

Posted:

KSF ECSTAR Suzuki Racings, Corey James has rocketed to duel top ten round performances at rounds 7, and 8 of the 2018 Pirelli MX Nationals held at Ranch MX, NSW.

James who was drafted into the team just before the midseason break just missed out on a top ten round result in his first ride for Suzuki outfit at round five held in South Australia, claimed an impressive seventh place overall result for round seven on the back of 8-8 moto results.

He then backed up that performance on Sunday afternoon going 9-8 in the two back to back moto‰Ûªs to finish round eight of the series with 8th position overall.

The results have also lifted James to 14th in the championship series, with just two rounds remaining. A great effort for a rider who did not compete at the opening four rounds.

‰ÛÏThe weekend started off great, with a 9th place qualifying result on Saturday morning, which really helped set up the weekend.‰Û
The weekend proved to be a bit of a tough one for Jesse Madden who is still feeling the effects of his big crash at Wonthaggi earlier this year.

He was running well in the opening moto of the weekend until another crash left him on the ground and in the process aggravated the rib injury sustained at Wonthaggi.

Determined not to let the crash get to him, Madden decided to race the opening moto on Sunday morning to finish off round 7 of the series with a 16th place moto result.

Toughing it out Madden lined up aboard his Suzuki RM-Z250 for the MX2 back to back moto‰Ûªs on Sunday Afternoon and was able to put in two solid motos, going 14-14 for the day to finish round 8 of the championship in 14th position. ‰ÛÏI certainly struggled a bit on Saturday this weekend,‰Û
