The gates will drop this weekend (2/3 April) at Cobram Border Junior Motorcycle Club as junior hopefuls contest the first round of the 2011 Victorian Junior Motocross Championships.
The series will be four rounds to be held at Cobram, Horsham, Rosebud and Albury-Wodonga.
The 2011 series will also host an inaugural 'Vic Chicks' a Girls combined 85cc/150cc 2-stroke 150/250cc 4-stroke Class and introduce a new race day format. Classes to run on Saturday will be A, B, C grade 13-under 16 250cc 4-stroke, A, B, C grade 9-under 12 85cc 2-stroke and 150cc 4-stroke, 7-under 9 50cc Auto Div 2 and the 'Vic Chicks'. While Sunday A, B, C grade 13-under 16 100cc, 125cc and 150cc 2-stroke, A, B, C grade 12-under 16 85/80bw and 150cc 4-stroke and A, B, C grade 7-under 13 65cc will navigate the circuit.
Practice then racing will begin after riders briefing at 8.15am at 2 Pye Road, Cobram with Race Solutions on standby for any medical needs.
