Australia's Speedway World Cup team Captain, Chris Holder has been forced out of the 2013 event after a horrific crash left him with multiple breaks and fractures.
The current world champion suffered a fractured and dislocated hip, broken pelvis, shattered heel and broken shoulder in a crash while racing for Poole at Coventry last Friday.

Davey Watt takes his spot in the team and Aussie champion Troy Batchelor captains his country for the first time.
The FIM has also confirmed that Sweden and Russia have changed their starting line-ups for the 2013 Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup.
Russian brothers
Artem and Grigorii Laguta have both been withdrawn from their team and replaced by
Valdimir Borodulin and
Ilya Chalov.
The Swedes go into Event 2 at King‰Ûªs Lynn on Monday (July 15) without FIM Speedway Grand Prix racer
Fredrik Lindgren. He is set to sit the competition out to overcome the arm injuries he suffered at the Moldow Danish SGP in Copenhagen on June 29.
His team mate
Peter Karlsson has also pulled out after a crash at Lakeside last Friday left him with head, knee and foot injuries.
Swedish champion
Daniel Nermark has been drafted in, along with
Dennis Andersson. They join
Peter Ljung and
Jonas Davidsson in the side to compete against Team Great Britain, Denmark and the USA.
