Before a sold out crowd of 10,032 fans at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Yamaha‰Ûªs Chad Reed won the second of two
motos in the Alpinestars 250cc Pro Class, giving him the $100,000 overall payout and championship.
Yamaha‰Ûªs Mike Brown won the Pro Circuit 125cc Pro Class, but his teammate, Kelly Smith, won the overall.
Honda‰Ûªs Ernesto Fonseca holeshot the Alpinestars 250cc Pro Class, with night one winner David Vuillemin in second. During lap one, Carmichael moved into second, and secured first place when Fonseca crashed. Reed passed Carmichael for the lead and held on for the win.
