Factory Yamaha backed rider Broc Hepler will step up to the the 450 Motocross class when the 2008 AMA Toyota Motocross Championship presented by FMF kick of at Glen Helen Raceway Park, on Memorial Day weekend, May 24-25.
Broc is very excited about his future on the YZ450F and looking forward to stepping up to the main class, "I'm really looking forward to riding the YZ450F this summer, as this is the logical next step in my career. We started tested immediately following the Las Vegas Supercross and my plan is to be 100% ready by Glen Helen", said an upbeat Broc Hepler.
"The plan all along was to start off Broc on the YZ250F in the Lites class and then transition him to the YZ450F, but after suffering a multitude of injuries during the last two years that plan had been put on hold. That all changed after the Las Vegas Supercross. We talked it over with Broc and decided to go back to the original plan and race the Motocross class at the AMA Nationals", said Racing Division Manager Keith McCarty.
