BMW Motorrad has announced their 2015 RR Experience, a two part event offering test rides on the S 1000 RR and other BMW models, as well as ride day sessions for customers on their own motorcycles.
Riders will get a true feel of the incredible performance of the latest incarnation of the award-winning S 1000 RR and other models on a closed circuit environment.
The 2015 model has significant improvements to ensure it stays well ahead of the pack. Those who ride the formidable new RR will feel all the changes instantly but even on paper the figures speak volumes. Output is now 199hp - an increase of 6hp - while max torque is now 130 Nm. Weight has been shaved, making the new RR even more agile at just 204 kg fully fuelled, while the incredible new quick-shift pro system offers clutch-less up and down shifts.
Along with the S 1000 RR, riders will also have the opportunity to ride the S 1000 R, K 1300 S, K 1300 R, R 1200 GS and the stunning new R 1200 R.
The cost is $89 for 1 test ride session; this includes an event t-shirt and light refreshments.
Riders of BMW's and other brands can enjoy their bikes in a controlled Track Day environment. If you have never done a track day before then this is your chance.
Lead riders will be on track for the first 2 laps and provide tips where possible. All bikes must be road registered, no track/ race bikes or slick tyres permitted and riders must have full license.
The cost is $280 including a garage space, event t-shirt and light refreshments.
Track Day participants will also be able to test ride the RR, or other models if available.

March 17 - Phillip Island.

April 7 and 8 - Sydney Motorsport Park.

May 19 - Queensland Raceway.
Bookings open Thurs 19 March.
