Australia's Trophy team endured a tough day four at the 2012 International Six Day Enduro being held in Saxony, Germany overnight.

After making it through day three which proved to be challenging to all, day four being held over the same terrain as day three was made even more difficult with rain falling before and throughout the day.

Adding to Australia's woes, both Toby Price and Glenn Kearny started the day carrying injuries, with Price continuing to push through with damaged ribs, while Kearny somehow made the start of day four despite having a large gash on his knee sewn up after day three.

If the damaged ribs were not already enough for Price, he also continues to struggle with a bent front wheel which he damaged early on the opening day.

In a display of courage Price and Kearney along with Daniel Milner, Christopher Hollis, Matthew Phillips and Josh Strang held strong and finished day four still holding second place in the Trophy competition, 32 minutes behind France who continues to put in a flawless display.

Italy continues to be the team chasing Australia for second place and currently sit six and a half minutes behind the Aussies.

Australia's Junior Trophy team of Luka Bussa, Mitcham Harper and Lachlan Stanford continue to hold down fourth place with another solid effort on day four.

The Women's Trophy team moved back from second place to third overnight with all three riders encountering issues on the trail section and losing some time.

The Women's team of Jessica Gardiner, Tanya Hearn and Tayla Jones currently sit 1 hour and 55 minutes behind leader France, and 16 minutes back from new second placed team Germany.

In another testament to the strong Australian line up this year, an all Australian Yamaha team consisting of Daniel Milner, Matthew Phillips and Mitcham Harper has Yamaha sitting 3rd in the Manufactures Cup behind the KTM 2 team of Eero Remes, Kurt Caselli and Johnny Aubert and the Husaberg 1 team consiting of Joakim Ljunggren, Pierre-Alexandre Renet, and Mathias Bellino.

In the overall individual standings Australia continues to have three riders inside the top ten outright with Phillips the highest ranked rider in 7th place, Price in 9th and Strang in 10th

Milner holds down 6th place in the E1 class, Phillips currently sits in 4th place in the E2 class two positions ahead of Strang in 6th, while Price continues to sit in 2nd place in the E3 class.

Gardiner is the highest placed female rider in the Women's class in 6th place
