Australian Road & Track Rider Promotions (ARTRP) has announced the main event details for competitors considering competing in the upcoming Australasian FX Motocross Championship and the Australasian Junior FX Motocross Championship at Winton International Raceway‰Ûªs Motocross circuits on the weekend of the 18th and 19th of December.
Please be aware this is not just another MX event it is a one round Championship for Seniors and Juniors motocrossers.
The Australian Auto Sport Alliance (AASA) has awarded the inaugural AMX championships with Australasian championship status and at the end of this one weekend of racing Australia will have seven new number one championship plate holders in the Senior AMX Championship and six new number one plate holders in the Junior AMX Championship.
As previously announced the inaugural Australasian Senior and Junior MX Championships will be run in conjunction with the Saturday series finale of the three round day/night Australasian FX Superbike Championship at Winton on Saturday the 18th.
ARTRP has believed since the first days of the company that Australia is sorely lacking a true domestic major motorcycle racing extravaganza that encompasses more than one aspect of the sport and allows on site camping and we aim to provide just that at Winton Raceway in mid December.
The third weekend in December will see the Juniors competing on the Saturday with racing expected to finish at around 4.30pm. This will be just in time to see the final races on the FX Superbike Championship which is being run at the road racing track on the other side of the large Winton camp ground. The juniors and their families will as a part of entering the Junior Championship be able to watch the FX Superbike races, as the road racing will continue on to approximately 8.00 pm.
As mentioned Winton has a large camp ground with toilets and showers and camping will be available on the Saturday night for a small fee. Competitors who are camping at Winton Raceway on the Saturday night will also as a part of entering and camping be able to stay and see the next day‰Ûªs racing of the nationally televised single round Senior AMX Championship on the full 1.5 km Winton MX Circuit.

To add to the excitement and challenge of the one round Senior and Junior AMX championships all classes on both days will receive four races to show case their talent.
Please be aware that at ARTRP promoted events we accept both current MA competition licenses and AASA competition licenses.
Just as we do with our road racing events our goal is to put on the most professional and fun run events for all competitors, whether they are first timers starting out on their racing careers or full factory teams with the biggest names in the sport. As far as we are concerned all riders should be treated exactly the same and that is how we have done it in road racing for fifteen years and that is how we will now do it in MX.
As long term motorcycle race promoters ARTRP is extremely pleased to be able to announce and promote the inaugural Australasian FX Motocross Championship for both seniors and juniors racers. This release is basically a information pack for all competitors thinking of competing in either championship. As we have said this is our inaugural MX Championship and we intend to build and improve on it as we go and we look forward to feedback from all competitors. There will be more announcements over the coming two weeks that will provide more details including the exceptional national Free to Air and Pay TV coverage of the Senior AMX Championship.
