In more good news for Australian motocross fans, Jake Moss, the reigning Australian motocross Lites Champion will be returning home for a guest appearance at the International Oceania Motocross Championships at McAdam Park, Barrabool.
19 year old Jake convincingly won the Australian Championship in August, and has since moved to the U.S.A. to further his career in what is arguably the highest standard of motocross racing in the World, the U.S. Nationals. It took Jake no time at all to show the American talent scouts that he already has the speed to run top 10 up against the Worlds best, and has signed a deal to race the U.S. Nationals for the 2008 season.
Event organisers, the Sporting Motorcycle Club of Geelong, are very pleased Jake can compete. Club President, Sam Olliff, says ‰ÛÏI‰Ûªm stoked that Jake can take time out to make it back home. The Oceania is foremost a teams challenge between Australia and New Zealand‰Ûªs best, and we need a strong team to keep in front of the Kiwis!
We have won the last 2 years and hopefully Jake will help us keep on winning!‰Û
