The Australian Enduro Championship (AusEnduro) is gearing up for a massive 2026 campaign, marking its 20th anniversary with a 12-round calendar designed to push the country’s top off-road riders to their limits.
Set to run from March to September across six weekends, the 2026 season brings a mix of returning favourites and fresh challenges. Roma in Queensland, Dungog in New South Wales and Queensland Moto Park all make welcome returns to the schedule, while Casterton and Kempsey will back up from 2025. South Australia’s Coonalpyn will join the national tour for the first time, adding another brand-new test to the mix.
The 2025 season marked a new chapter for Australian off-road racing as the rebranded championship debuted with a stronger focus on elite domestic talent. The racing delivered from the opening flag to the final test, as Daniel Milner and Wil Ruprecht waged a fierce season-long fight in the new outright category. Despite a late charge from Ruprecht, Milner’s consistency proved decisive as he etched his name into the record books as the inaugural winner of the ‘best of the best’ class — and added the E2 title for good measure.
All senior and junior categories will return in 2026, including dedicated classes for women and girls, as the series celebrates two decades since it was officially awarded Australian championship status. Across the previous 18 seasons — with 2021 cancelled due to Covid — the championship has showcased some of Australia’s greatest off-road talent, from Toby Price, Daniel Sanders, Stefan Merriman and Ben Grabham through to current stars like Kyron Bacon, Josh Green, Milner and Ruprecht.
The rider-number allocation process for 2026 will begin in January, with further details to come.
