Anderson Scores First Pro Motocross Championship Podium for 2018

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing's Jason Anderson has scored his first podium of the 2018 Lucas Oils AMA Pro Motocross Championship at the Glen Helen National in San Bernardino, Calif. on Saturday.

Fastest qualifier Anderson was top-10 at the start of the first 450 moto and came out of the first lap in fourth. He inherited the third-place spot after Christian Craig went down while leading and continued to charge as before conceding the position to Marvin Musquin around the halfway point. He held strong the remainder of the race and finished fourth. He pulled a massive holeshot in the second moto and led every lap until there were two laps to go when he conceded the position to Eli Tomac. He finished second, giving him 4-2 for third overall on the day. He is currently third in 450 rider point standings.
