Alex Cudlin had the taste of first win in Qatar as the Australian clinched the first race in the National Superbike fifth round at the Losail International Circuit on Friday.
With the series leader Anthony Delhalle missing in this round due to his Moto2 race, this was a golden chance for the QERT Suzuki rider to pick a cool 50 points from the double header. And he did exactly that too.
After winning the pole position on Thursday, Cudlin took his Suzuki to a five second win ahead of Yousef Majed al-Malki. The last place on the podium was taken by Sultan al-Naimi.
