Albury Wodonga MC Club to host KTM MX State of Origin

Posted:

Albury Wodonga Motorcycle Club will be hosting the inaugural KTM MX State of Origin, to be held on March 10 and 11, 2007. Featuring the best motocross riders from NSW and Vic States. There will be professional, expert, clubmen, women's and junior lites (125cc and 250cc) riders from both States. They will be battling it out for their State honors, prize money and the pride to be crowned as the superior State in Motocross. Backed by the event major sponsor, KTM Australia, the event promises to be the opening highlight to the 2007 Motocross racing calendar. Club President, Craig Windham, said what a great opening season event to be held on the Border. "The facilities at the Albury Wodonga Motorcycle Club are some of the best for motocross racing in Victoria, and are being improved continuously". Having successfully hosted the third round of Unior Junior Victorian Titles this year (2006), the club is ready for the next step with this innovative concept of matching State against State for the very first time. "This is the biggest event we have held to date".
